So frustrated

I am so bleeping frustrated with my sewing machine. I've been trouble shooting the problem with the machine for a week now. I thought I was using the wrong thread and/or the wrong needle. My top thread kept breaking but now the bobbin thread is all whacked. I think I got that fixed and now the screw that tightens where the needle gets inserted won't tighten all the way to hold the needle in. Grrrrrrrrrrrrrr. I would really love to throw machinery out the window sometimes. Why can't things just work well all the time the way I want them to?
I cussed so loudly and threw a mini temper tantrum. It didn't help. I did manage to scare my dog Chester in to a different room. I've got to begin working on the quilt for R again. That was my intention but I can't hang around my sewing machine when I'm angry and frustrated (out the window it truly might go if I do!) The kids also want me to make pillow cases for them from the new fabric they chose today. Maybe I'll give it another go later this evening. Sigh.......

We have another showing today so at least our house is getting more traffic and it forces me to keep things picked up and organized.

Friday evening Bobbi would have been proud of me. I made hamburger buns from scratch from an old and very well used cookbook. This week I want to make whole wheat buns and bake something from the Art and Soul of Baking book. The brownies are looking good and those have been requested for next weekend's camping trip menu.

Time to leave so our house can get shown.
